About Our Operation

Jenefal Farms & Industries (JFI) currently operates across 500 acres of farmland, producing salt, cassava, palm nuts, and okra. To support future growth and scaling, the company also has access to more than 2,000 additional acres of arable land. In addition to salt production, JFI is actively engaged in cassava value addition, processing fresh cassava into high-quality cassava granules, locally known as gari.

JFI’s strong operational performance has been recognized through consecutive District Best Food Processor Awards. These achievements facilitated the establishment of a public–private partnership with the Government of Ghana, with joint support from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA), and the Rural and Agricultural Transformation Improvement Programme (RTIMP). Through this collaboration, one of JFI’s sub-industry processing facilities was upgraded into a Good Practice Center (GPC). JFI is a direct beneficiary of this initiative and maintains full responsibility for the operation, management, and ongoing maintenance of the GPC.
